Among other effects, extreme weather has a significant impact&#13;\nIt is on basic infrastructure and is known as one of the main causes of power outages all over the world. In fact, a power outage&#13;\ncaused by weather often has a significant impact and lasts a long time, therefore, increasing the flexibility of the network in&#13;\nAgainst such events is desirable. In this regard, this article first discusses the effects of climate change on reliability&#13;\nand discusses the exploitation of power system components. Since modeling the effect of climate change is a difficult objective, due to&#13;\nIts unpredictable and random nature, the existing methods are presented to provide a better understanding of the main modeling methods&#13;\nChallenges and prerequisites of assessing the effects of weather on the frequency and duration of blackouts in the power system.
